Can I still pass the virus on after treatment?
Dynamiclear has NOT been proven to prevent transmission of the virus to a partner - no herpes treatment has been proven to do this because there is always a risk of transmission from asymptomatic viral shedding (spreading of the virus when there is no symptoms).
It is important to be sensible and take precautions not to spread the virus.

How does Dynamiclear work?
When Dynamiclear comes into contact with the herpes virus it destroys it. The problem is that it is difficult to make contact with the "whole" population of the virus because some of the virus retreats to within the nerves and other tissues.
During an outbreak the virus gathers to the surface of the skin creating a visible sore or lesion, this is when Dynamiclear is applied to eliminate the virus.
The fact that the herpes virus will retreat into the nervous system makes it extremely difficult to eliminate completely. What can be done is to attack the virus each time that it surfaces, depleting it with every encounter and diminishing the amount of virus retreating back into the nervous system.

How should I store the solution?
The best method of storage is to put the vial of Dynamiclear in an air-tight jar or container and store it away from direct sunlight and magnetic fields in room temperature. The product should not be refrigerated.
It is ideal to store your Dynamiclear vial in an environment similar to a medicine cabinet or wine cellar.
Ensure that the lid of the Dynamiclear is tightly sealed after each use. Do not leave the lid off for any period of time because it may evaporate (similar to a nail polish remover or metholated spirits, etc).

Can I apply Dynamiclear if there are no visible symptoms?
Dynamiclear is a topical application (applied externally onto the skin) that is used to treat active outbreaks of herpes and coldsores, caused by HSV-1 and HSV-2.
When making the application there must be at least some visible skin irritation in the area for the product to have any effect. If you are experiencing no active symptoms Dynamiclear will not really be of any use to you.

When should I make the application?

Some helpful tips:
- It is best to apply Dynamiclear in the evening after you have had a shower. This allows the area to heal all night while you are sleeping and gives the treatment a good head start.

Can I make the application early?
Yes, you can if you like.
Many of our clients (particularly those who have cold sores that are easily visible) prefer to get the outbreak moving as quickly as possible. This is okay as long as there is at least some noticable irriation that you can apply the solution to.
This method works very well for some people and can even stop the outbreak in it's tracks if successful.Even so, we always recommend the peak application for best, long term results.
If you are new to Dynamiclear we suggest trying the treatment as directed for the first one or two outbreaks.
Once you become familiar with the treatment and how it works 'for you' then you could experiment with making the application at difference stages.This may include applying Dynamiclear to the early, prodromal symptoms such as itching, tingling, redness and the first sign of a sore.

Can I apply Dynamiclear more than once?
It is only necessary to make ONE application to each sore during each episode. The solution is very strong and will perform its task effectively with one application.
If applied correctly (and at the peak of the outbreak) Dynamiclear will destroy all of the local virus particles and cause the sore to begin healing rapidly.
It is important not to over-apply Dynamiclear so that the lesion has the opportunity to heal. The infected area could become sensitive or irritated from over-use of the product.
Exceptions:
a) If a scab forms it must be allowed to heal naturally and undisturbed. The scab could be removed if it is knocked or becomes excessively wet. In this case, a second application may be helpful if the scab has been removed and if the sore has not yet begun to heal again. The area must then be allowed to heal naturally and undisturbed.
b) If making an “early application” you may choose to make a second application when the lesion has fully developed. Please see “Premature Application” instructions for advice on how to make an early application.
Be gentle with your skin and allow the area to heal naturally.
Once the virus has begun to die off and the area has begun to heal [usually a scab forms at this stage] you can choose to apply Aloe vera gel (fresh if possible) onto the healing sore.

Can I take prescription herpes medications at the same time?
If you feel more comfortable taking oral prescription medications (such as Valtrex or Acyclovir) along with Dynamiclear that is completely okay. There are no contra-indications in doing this and there are many people who have had great results by using both therapies.
Many customers like to take suppressive medications to help suppress the virus and keep outbreaks at bay, while using Dynamiclear to 'zap' the symptoms when they occur.
However, it is not always necessary and sometimes Dynamiclear will work better without the use of suppressive medications. For example, some people's outbreaks never develop into a blister. Sometimes this is because the condition is quite mild or in other cases, this happens when taking suppressive medications (as they can help to reduce the activity of a condition).
Best results can be expected when Dynamiclear is applied to an active lesion, sore or blister and suppressive medications may reduce the activity of a condition. In this situation, avoidance of them may be desirable when trying Dynamiclear.
One consideration is that if you refrain from using suppressives the outbreaks can become very active for a short time. If you decide to do this, do not be unduly alarmed as this is expected when the suppressive medications are stopped, particularly if you have been using them consistently for a lengthy period of time.
On the other hand, Dynamiclear does offer rapid healing time and so can be used in combination with suppressive medication if you feel more comfortable in doing so.

Will Dynamiclear react with alcohol, other medications or drugs?
No, Dynamiclear will not cause interference with internally taken medicines. The treatment is also not affected by drinking alcohol.

I have an allergy to Sulphur. Can I use Dynamiclear?
If you have an allergy to sulphur it is very unlikely that you would have a reaction to Dynamiclear because the concern normally only relates to sulphur taken internally.
The Dynamiclear solution is applied "topically" and is not to be taken internally. The treatment is applied externally onto the skin in a very minute quantity and does not affect or penetrate internal organs.
